About RugAZ
RugAZ is a catalogue of area rugs and runners for the floors of a home: washable, shag, jute, braided, Persian and oriental styles, indoor and outdoor, from small accent rugs to room-filling sizes. Every entry repeats what the seller wrote about the rug, set beside the price we saw.
Taken from the title, left blank when it is silent
A rug's size, shape, pile, material and wash instructions are read from the words of the listing title. If a title says nothing about the pile, the cell stays empty. We do not open the product page, guess from the picture or convert a metric size into feet to make two rugs line up. A title that names two sizes reads as neither.
No rug here has been walked on by us
Nobody who writes for this site has unrolled a rug, run a vacuum over it, spilled coffee on it or watched it for a year of foot traffic. That is why you will not find our photographs, our scores or our opinions on softness, shedding, color fading or whether a corner curls. A pile height, a backing, a care label or a washing claim is the seller's statement, repeated as stated. Stain removal and allergy questions belong with the maker's instructions and your own doctor.
Prices, each with its reading time
A price on RugAZ came from the store and carries the time it was read. When a reading gets too old to stand behind it is taken down, not left up as a stale number, so the store's own page is where today's price is settled.
Guides and Learn
Our guides sort rugs by the sizes, styles and prices that listings state. For plain-language notes on pile, weaves and fibers, the Learn pages draw on what makers and public agencies publish, and the home page shows how many rugs are covered today.
